I'm not exactly sure what happened, but one of my cacti just kind of rotted from the bottom up, from the inside out. This is confusing, frustrating, mind boggling, and soo many other things. How does that happen? Maybe something happened during the transplant that I did about a month ago? They are in a window and not a dark corner anymore, they are in better soil formulated for cacti specifically, they have been nurtured. Sometimes things happen that we have no control over, and sometimes we are reminded in the strangest of ways.
RIP my beautiful, I will take a trip to IKEA and get another cactus in your honor.
